Read what Emily, a student at Oxford, has to say about her experiences at the interviews:
"Many people that I know at Oxford felt they had messed up at interviews. The interviews are an important part of the application process but they also take into account written work, aptitude test scores and personal statement so interviews are not the only thing that matters.
Interviewers know that interviews are very nerve-wrecking so just try to stay calm and don’t worry about necessarily getting all the right answers because they are trying to see how you problem solve and what you do with new information."
She also mentioned a couple of ways to stay calm before the interview:
"Don’t talk to people also at interviews who might be trying to throw you off. Listen to some of your favourite music to calm you down. Meditate if that is something you practice. Believe in yourself, you have reached the interview stage which means they think you are a strong candidate."
